Condition Surveys
Dilapidations can often be a major cost, either at the end of, or even during, the term of a lease and, in our experience, are rarely planned for appropriately. Calders provide survey reports on the condition of commercial properties for Landlords or Tenants, to record the state of repair prior to commencement of a lease, or in connection with dilapidation claims during or at the end.
This service includes:
- Examination of any relevant tenancy or lease documentation, and advising upon obligations.
- A detailed survey of the property
- Production of the appropriate condition survey report, together with duplicate copies, as required
- Discussions and negotiation with the Landlord / Tenant, or their agent, as necessary.
